Default Wireless reverse camera.

Hi, I’m looking to fit a reverse camera to my MG ZTT. However running the wires from the camera through the roof lining or under the carpets is something I want to avoid.

I have an android double din unit (navall) so I have the screen. Has anyone fitted a camera without these wires? I still want to screen to be triggered by putting into reverse, so I guess I’d need a feed from the reverse light circuit switch?

Eddie

I bought this for my MG ZT-T (xTrons) and R75 (WinCE):

Bought this camera on AliExpress @ OTERLEEK Official Store

Installation could not be simpler! Place the camera/license plate and place the transmitter somewhere in the 5th door. Wire the camera to earth and the reverse light. (OK, that's a bit more difficult but you can easily guide the wire through the rubber tube of the fifth door).

Place the receiver somewhere behind the passenger side foot well and connect the cables to the NavAll. The NavAll has a reverse wire you will need to connect (search this forum) and then you are ready to go. The camera takes a few seconds to activate and the image is crystal clear :-)

Good luck

Great! If you need assistance installing just let us know.

(Tip: after placing and aiming the camera, put some sealant/grease on the screws fixing the camera. They tend to rust rather easily )

had nothing but trouble with the wireless set up. admitted it was used daily two or three times back and forth to work, parking up etc. mine was on my wince unit from sean radioguy and the wireless setup. so i cannot really say if it was a quality issue or not. i went through 3 transmitters and 2 receivers ... all from sean. the other thing i noticed was the lack of connection and sometimes none at all if someone or something was in the middle rear seat. sometimes just an outline on the screen ,until the person or whatever was removed from the rear seat area. i hardwired mine and never any problems since. i went through the boot lid flexi wire into boot then down and along under carpet edge and eventualy into the dash on that side. half an hour to do once the boot lid was sorted. so still all good now im happy to say. ...
