Afternoon all, Boy is it warm although still overcast, Just been out to B&Q to get some plumbing supplies, I've been told to pull my finger out & get that other sink installed & lay that waterproof outdoor grass like carpet over the decking Nowt to do wi deckin' but the slave driver wants it down, Ran out of that too bleddy slave driver & Morrisons to replenish the English mustard stocks, only 4 jars of my favourite 'saver' mustard left on the shelf & only 30p a jar, delicious stuff opn bangers & black pudding. #

Just got about 8 books to read to replenish those read in lock down.
Did 22 miles on Mountain bike with slicks Friday morning then a short mile walk. Still 135K fat bar steward. Resulted in lazy afternoon.
Planenut came over yesterday to adjust handbrake. He is a good egg.
Think I was turning the o/s adjuster up on the gear wheel instead of down. DOH!! Think it is OK now. Got an MOT due 25th arranged by our friendly mechanic.
Hi Peter I am sure you will get your tourer through the MOT via our anonymous and most friendly mechanic, no worries many miles on a bike ride is pretty good going. In my younger day, I cycled Devizes - Bournemouth and back over a weekend. I didn't realise Fred was able to adjust the hand brake, a useful chap to know. I still haven't worked out what he does for a living

Evening all as George used to say - 'tis a canny end to the day here - evening sun heading Westwards and nice and mild.
I've spent half the day rolling back my Windows 10 from yesterday's newly installed Version 2004 to the previous one - Version 2019.
The new 2004 version installed OK yesterday, although it took hours. This morning, it booted up OK, but very slowly - and wouldn't let me open anything - it wouldn't even let me 'ctrl alt delete'
I took the option of reverting to the previous version - and was asked (via a few tick boxes) why I was reverting. Unfortunately, there wasn't a tick box for "pile of donkey droppings"

Oh heck Rod, That's not good news! Those three desktop PC's I had with Win 10 on all had dents in the tower cases from kicking them through frustration from those damned updates All three had different problems after the updates.

Life's easier now as the hard drives all got written over with Ubuntu,Solus & Linux Mint OS's, Peace & Joy at last & never a moments trouble since lol.
