There is a reason for putting Countries on red or green, but to give a warning of several days for those away to get back before a quarantine defeats the object.

Going abroad this summer was always going to be risky, some people decided to take that change. The R rate is now above 1 across the UK, it will be interesting to see how the government reacts to it.

It seems people are slow at accepting the fact, that we will all get this disease, sooner or later, like we all have had flu.

Hiding is not going to change this fact. At best it will delay it.

The vaccines either work or they don't, if they do and the virus is then not much worse than a cold as we're led to believe, who is at risk and from what? I don't buy into the idea of protecting those who won't have the jab or haven't had the virus, that's their problem and they'll live or die with that choice. What was the point of a vaccine if it changes nothing.

Exactly. I don't want the jab, and certainly don't want to be forced into it by uneducated idiots that are "excited" to be getting theirs. If your that scared of dying, (I'm not), get the needle, it'll protect you, or will it? But for gods sake, leave those who don't want it to themselves, that's how it all started in Germany with the Nazis dividing the people into groups. Look at your history books.

What if you could reduce the volume of those who get the virus, requiring hospitalisation, overwhelming the hospitals, and reducing the service to 'real' diseases?

What if you would have been able to have been treated by a local.hospital, but it had filled up and been closed.to new admissions, forcing you to be ferried on a freight ferry in isolation to Scotland for your initial rounds of chemotherapy treatment?

Controlling it was to relieve the services we rely on (unfortunately my neighbour no longer needs to rely on it for her cancer treatment).
