My ZT-T went to AE Wilcox today for some warranty work and loaned a MG3 loan car.
My ZT-T went back to AE Wilcox today for some work under warranty. AE Wilcox were extremely helpful and never quibbled about any of the work that needed doing. Would definitely reccomend the aftersales at AE Wilcox after purchasing a car from them. AE Wilcox even had a loan car for me when I got there this morning even though I did mot originally book a loan car.
The work that was done was: Airbag fault light illuminated, due to a connector. Boot board light had wiring cut through. Cruise control was not always engaging, problem with switch. Glovebox light kept going on and off, faulty connector. Rear light cluster replaced due to broken fixings. Many thanks to AE Wilcox I hopefully now have one fully sorted ZT-T. I Just need to arrange for a smart repairer to look at some of the more noticeable marks in the bodywork. |

Nice to hear an ex MGR dealer doing good work and being helpful; what did you make of the MG3. Looks quite a nice little car to me!

I agree, AE Wilcox are very helpful. When I was trying to source an NLA front suspension part, they dismantled one of the strut assemblies they had in stock and posted off the individual part I needed. Spoke with a chap called John - big clash of accents, with me living near the Irish border and John sounding like he was from Cornwall or thereabouts, but we got there! Very helpful and pleasant folks.
Cheers, Karl. |

Really good to see a positive report on this AE Wilcox.
Hopefully with service standards like that they will do well for their benefit AND that of their satisfied customers. In this day and age of mediocre service - especially in the car industry - good service deserves to be published |

The only dilema would be if I were thinking about buying one is in my opinion it would not be a replacement for my ZT-T but if I was looking to buy a second car I think it would make a great everyday car. One of the only downsides is the 1.5 petrol engine as I found the combined mpg was slightly less then I would get from my ZT-T for a similar journey. I think if it was to be offerered as a diesel or a more frugal petrol engine it would be a great car for the money. |

I've purchased a couple of cars from them in the last few years. the latest is my MG6. Superb people to deal with.
My 75 i traded in for the MG6 lasted less than a week for sale. |

Did the MG3 go back a lot cleaner? Did it get a good "Neving"?
