Possibly the greatest mind this country has ever produced.

Perhaps his greatest achievement was surviving a further 47 years after being diagnosed and given 2-3 years to live.

RIP Stephen Hawking.

I didn't realise what a wicked sense of humour he had, Few years ago when he still had some movement he was being interviewed, at the end of the interview one of the technicians unplugged the lights, Hawking slumped forward in his chair. The technician went into a panic, thinking he had unplugged some vital power supply to Hawking's chair by mistake and ran out for help. They returned to the room to find Hawking laughing!
