Morning Ian,

The catio is already there, just having a polycarbonate roof fitted to it like we did the first one.
Stage three will be in the New Year when we have a third catio built

Afternoon all, After a wet rainy start we had some sunshine & clear skies but the winds picked up in strength again (bird feeder has just gone airborne & the rain clouds are back

Might be a chippy tea tonight as the kitchen is upside down and being plastered. B&Q have got the kitchen parts we need as being in stock but when you turn up they have none This has happened at two B&Q's, Nobody is answering phones

My brother has just gone further afield to B&Q at Warrington hoping they have the stuff there, I don't have any confidence them stating they're in stock there Got to try & get everything before the lockdown on Thursday. I need an haircut too.

Oh Yum Jeff That looks proper good.

Chips, steak kidney pudding & mushy peas from the chippy for tea tonight.

Just had a to-do with one of our neighbours They have six cars & only one of them is legally on the road, When we came back from the B&Q's he'd parked one of his cars opposite our driveway, It's a narrow service rd & we couldn't get my bro's van in the driveway The red mist had already descended with being messed about with out of stock items that showed in stock online
My younger brother said is this going to be good! shall I go get some popcorn

I marched over to tell him to shift it before I do no answer at the door but I could hear someone talking!, It turned out to be from one of those camera doorbell answering doodahs, I'm as deaf as a post & hadn't a scooby do what the heck he was waffling on about, I put my face right up to the camera & said if that car isn't shifted by morning I'll break the window to get in & drag it out of the way myself, He's just been to shift it lol.

Daft o'clock school run for me today - son had to be at work for 6.30, and daughter in law has open up the nursery where she works at 7.20.
Result of all that is that I take over granddaughter sitting duties at 6.50 - which in turn meant an alarm at 5.45.
Once I get home, it'll be a lazy day - didn't sleep well last night as a result of a very strong wind and horizontal rain battering the bedroom window. At least this morning both wind and rain have disappeared.
I hope you and Jessica are both well and continuing to avoid the pesky virus?
Good morning Rod and welcome to the day everyone. Rod, how your family loves to keep you busy, bless their hearts

Thank you for asking. Today I am making hospital appointments for Jessica and myself. Jessica to see a specialist about her back and myself to see if I can get a scan to check on the aneurysm in the knee and the one in the aorta. The last scan was in February in London, showed the
aneurysms were still growing but we’re not big enough to need repairs.

Apart from that we are doing okay, we just returned from staying with a friend at her house in Cape Town. She had a party for her dogs, 3 Golden Retrievers and I filmed the dogs having fun.

We are back at the farm house on the mountain tending to the garden. The building project - a barn conversion is on track. Last evening we met with the carpenter to get a quote for kitchen cupboards. When the builders are on site and we are around them, they all wear masks and when we are not there, they take the masks off.

Have a great day

Morning all - it's drier, less cloudy and windy - but definitely a few degrees cooler than of late.
This morning, I'm on the "not so daft o'clock" school run, so that was another hour in bed compared to yesterday. I'm not on duty for the rest of the week, so I can go back to being a lazy g-t

Cool

Morning everyone from very wet Cornwall.

Torrential rain and gale force winds all night. Not much better this morning, although the wind has dropped.
