Cool

Morning everyone.

A bit grey here.

Changed the sheets and quilt cover, all in the washing machine. Prepared a beef casserole in the slow cooker. Housework done. And I’ve been given the rest of the day off.

A Sunny good morning to you all

This lockdown must be getting to me,as I sit here at the kitchen table,I was watching a fly walking up the wall,it was then I had a brainwave,I shall beat the boredom by decorating the kitchen starting Monday,

I have just done ,The Lounge,Hall and the spare room, with the kitchen done it will mean that the whole Bungalow has been decorated since September, with the exception of the main bedroom,no doubt Lesley will be barking out orders to get that done as well.

On a more better note

My Mighty Canaries are at home today against the Swans from Swansea

Come on yew yellows, lets be avin the Swans from South Wales, on our march up the table

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Morning all, Lawns cut with the hover mower as it's still too wet to get the petrol mower on them, Even managed to bend down far enough this morning to cut me toenails, It's getting harder & harder. Me shoes fit me now.

Oh the Deadwood Stage is a-rollin' on over the plains
With the curtains flappin' and the driver slappin' the reins
A beautiful sky, a wonderful day
Whip crack-away, whip crack-away, whip crack-away
Oh the Deadwood Stage is a-headin' on over the hills
Where the Injun arrows are thicker than porcupine quills
Dangerous land, no time to delay
So whip crack-away, whip crack-away, whip crack-away
We're headin' straight for town, loaded down
With a fancy cargo,
Care of Wells and Fargo, Illinois - Boy! Oh the Deadwood Stage
Is a-comin' on over the crest
Like a homin' pigeon that's a-hankerin' after its nest
Twenty-three miles we've covered today
So whip crack-away, whip crack-away, whip crack-away
The wheels go turnin' round, homeward bound
Can't you hear 'em hummin'Happy times
Are comin' for to stay - hey! We'll be home
Tonight by the light of the silvery moon
And my heart's a-thumpin' like a mandolin a-plunkin' a tune
When I get home, I'm fixin' to stay
So whip crack-away, whip crack-away, whip crack-away
Whip crack-away, whip crack-away, whip crack-away...
Introducin' Henry Miller, just as busy as a fizzy sarsparilla
Ain't a showman and he's smarter, operates the Golden Garter
Where the cream of Deadwood City come to dine
And I'm glad to say he's a very good friend of mine
Hi Joe, say where d'you get them fancy clothes
I know, off some fella's laundry line
Hi Beau, aren't you the Prairie Rose
Smellin' like a watermelon vine
Here's the man the Sheriff watches
On his gun there's more than twenty-seven notches
On the draw there's no-one faster and you're flirtin' wit

They don't write them like this anymore, our Derek would be smiling listening to Doris

Yeehaw!

Afternoon folks - I can't see the bottom of the garden for fog. It started it off dense at dawn - and despite about 30 seconds of sun a while ago, it's still a bit of a pea souper, and cold with it. A stay-in day I reckon.

Don't mention whips when Jeff is around - you know happens when you do
As far as you Canaries are concerned - beware, our OAP lead team is close behind you
