Cool Oh! My!

A 1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth is number 451 of 500, has just 12,047 miles on the clock and it has just sold for £103,500 (inc. buyers premium) in the NEC Classic Motor Show Live Online Auction.

That would pay for bit of upkeep on our cars.

Was thinking that myself. Can only go up...........or down, but in the long term UP. Especially when no more internal combustion engines are produced in 2030?

Classics do lose money as well as gain. Just look at Triumph Stags and Jaguar E Types. I would have thought that this on had reached it's zenith, but I may be wrong.

How about this currently offered for sale?

https://pendine.com/cars-for-sale/19...-tr4-ex-works/

Price according to November 2020 edition of TRaction is £300,000

I'm rich, i'm rich but more truthfully i' wish, i wish

Bought my TR4 back in February 1980 and since rebuilt and much faster than original. Gave £1100 for it and now agreed value of £25k though has no pedigree. That said bought it as a young man, enjoyed it down the years and will never sell it, or at least I thought so! A large sale price could make my impending retirement next year somewhat easier!
