I wish I still worked at my last place (joinery workshop) as i had access to all the machinery and spraying equipment to be able to fire loads of these out.
Had walnut delivered in massive planks on a daily basis, and the offcuts that went in the bin, could of kitted everyone in this club out with one! Never mind. |

Isn't the freelander one plastic? And I know you have to bore the hole out as it's to small, I attempted one and it's a total pain in the rear.

Didn't realise they did a real wood one too. Grumpy1 managed to make a good job of the one he had.

Freelander grips aren't cheap anymore either - after p&p and VAT the cheapest I've found was still getting on for £50 and they just don't appear on Ebay either.
£50 is a lot for a small walnut tube imho |

Walnut handbrake handle
If you look on a popular internet auction site for a bmw E46 handbrake handle in walnut you will see a seller from Bulgaria Buy 1 they are about 20 quid as i recall. They look excellent fitted(will supply a pic when i have worked out how to on a i phone)You only have to mod it very slightly by sanding off a raised section inside at the front(heated up a teaspoon handle on the hob and melted it off from the back)very tight fitting and as i said looks fab.

I don't think that's bad, I paid that for a walnut gear knob for my late Father's Jaguar Sovereign back in 1992.
