My 75 Club
Items wanted: Walnut handbrake handle, oem mats, full chrome MK1 grille and boot rack. Much needed repair parts: Thermostat and housing, power steering pump and center scilencer. Here are some pics of my beauty: click for bigger image No stereo as the default needed a code i did not have so i got a new one: click for bigger image After i got her back from fixing the HGF and other repairs i put my new Chrome wing mirror covers on her and i must say it makes a lot of difference: click for bigger image Full closure mod and boot lift mod video: Chrome fuse box cover: click for bigger image Installed in the car: click for bigger image Jules plenum shield: click for bigger image Leather seats after install: click for bigger image Switches for seat heaters: click for bigger image 2 of the switch holes have been blanked one holds the stereo USB cable the center hole is for the blind switch. New Rear Bumper :-D click for bigger image Reverse sensors installed and fully working :-D : click for bigger image Front fogs and Xenon headlights: click for bigger image Auto dimming mirror: click for bigger image Not much left i want to install so nearly finished :-D mind you I am sure I can find more to install ;-) New flip key. click for bigger image New bits added at he nano click thumbs for full size images/video: Black caps curtacy of dattrike (Nice Dave) click for bigger image Electric rear sunblind: Switch: click for bigger image Accessory socket thanks to jake for supplying it. click for bigger image Croft door finishers installed. click for bigger image Marmite ambient lighting. click for bigger image Well that was the quickest Royal Mail ever and the first time anyone has put John 'mischief' Griffiths on a package before lol click for bigger image Thanks Jake :-D Ok and here's the things I got through the post today in place: Torch socket. click for bigger image New indicator stalk with trip button. click for bigger image Marinabrian has sent me a new 93S56 chip for my IPK pre loaded with YAC003850LNF for petrol cars. I then took apart the IPk and changed over the chip. When finished I went out and did a quick test. Also Marinabrian said that if the IPK is put in place before the T4 it will read a config mismatch and install the IPK automatically :-D roll on next meet So after a good wash before the rain went to the inlaws and thought I would take a few new pics. The rain after I washed the car brought a problem to light. The xenon started to fill with water, here is the light apart just after I emptied all the water out of the unit. click for bigger image All cleaned and back together, I may have gone over the top sealing it but tbh I don't want to take it apart for the second time :wall: click for bigger image Well today I got round to replacing the pollen filter no big changes as such, I did however have to take the o/s headlight back out it seems I forgot to check the ignitor it was a bit wet and has now blown the bulb ah well we live and learn Pics of the old filter. click for bigger image Got my new union wheels just need a matching spare : click for bigger image Next pic, my wife wanted to do a bit on the car well the chrome trims needed changing as they were badly bubbled. So I showed her what to do as she removed the bumper and changed them over. I then decided to fit the washer jets this now gives me an excuse to finish the install before the next MOT click for bigger image Fitted new center cap badges and they make the wheels look a lot better. You are at that great start point with months of mods ahead of you, keep that bank balance healthy you'll need lots of pennies

Continued from post #1....
New interior bulbs: Installed the lazy indicator mod and made a quick install video and test of it working: Just finished dyeing the new walnut steering wheel. Before: First coat: About half way through: Last coat drying: All dry, tape off and ready for rebuild and install tomorrow evening: All images are clickable to see bigger images. Can't wait to get it in the car Steering wheel installed Nice surprise delivery this morning. Thanks to Howie666 Guess what the postman put through the letterbox today : Promptly ran out to the car and removed the IPK, then got to work on it: Finished and in the car: Clock fitted to match the IPK Replacement MPH dial with km/h: Engine undertray fitted (no pics) Just finished installing the square box sensor seems to work without a T4 but will get it checked anyway. This arrived in the post this morning: On rimmer bros: Timing belt, LHN100560: £30.00 Auto tensioner, LHP100900: £30.00 Water pump, PEB102510SLP: £47.99 From e-carparts ltd all 3: £67.94 Navall 2 unit arrived yesterday and set about installing it, I made myself a loom as I have the 17 pin BMW connector, Pics of my cable management: A few after install (ignore the finger prints) Set up the screen how I want it, 3 setups one for iPod use, one for Bluetooth use and one for spotify use (the one pictured below) New SS exhaust installed by MIJ exhausts today: Nice low grumble but not too loud More updates soon....

Thanks she is in the garage this friday for the inlet manifold to be changed, as some idiot put some sort of glue on the back end of it to keep the brake pressure pipe on (no idea what its actually called lol)
After this its front and rear brakes, Then the body work.

Just changed over the anti roll bar drop links, man what a pain all old nuts were rusted on tight so cut the old ones off, yes that's correct had to cut them off!!! All done now new ones on, just the new front spring to buy and fit :-D

After fixing and fitting my xenon lights I thought YAY! Done but nope my driver side one has leaked so now I have to take it off and take it apart to clean it out and re seal it.
