Default Top Team, Top Manager?

Its all Rooney and Derby in todays sport pages.
What have they achieved?
They only stayed up because Sheff Wed were deducted 6 points, they would not have had enough points to stay up otherwise.
So the season for Derby and Rooney, was a failure, playing wise.
Not much mention of the Champions

Derby have had an appaullling season and are very fortunate to avoid the drop.Even yesterday's game was a rollercoaster of emotions with the rams giving away silly goals, and 6 minutes of added time at 3-3.However,having survived there are new Spanish owners waiting in the wings ready to invest heavily on the pitch.Lets hope the champions manage a longer stint in the top flight than last time they went up

Imagine how I have felt as a Burnley fan for over 60 years! Last night they secured their 6th successive year in the Premiership, and all the match reports were about Fulham because they had been relegated having spent £200m in the last 2 years. When the 3000+ fans are allowed back at Turf Moor the tickets (on a raffle basis) will be free. Imagine any of the Champions League breakaway 6 doing that, but it didn't even get a mention in the press!

At least we support our home teams, plenty of plastic supporters about who seem to latch on to whoever is winning.

its hard being the underdog, but I love it,and I have a Norwich City Yo-Yo as well

Spot on Georgies Dad..................so easy to be a couch potato supporting whichever of the "gravy train" clubs is winning.

Immense respect for all fans who stand by their local clubs. Soft spot for Norwich City as have good friends who live there and support the Canaries. Been to Carrow Road with them and a number of them came up 2 seasons ago to reciprocate with a visit to Easter Road.

At least you got Pukki to settle down in England. Struggled a little up here with Celtic and when I watched him never looked happy.

All the best for being back in the EPL ........if Burnley can survive, you can too.
