finally got it sorted, it was a pesky brakes switch, one of the lungs had broken on the holder and it fallen out. Replace and now works

hello, I will soon buy a 75 v6 2.5 automatic. the cruise control does not work. The owner has changed the brake pedal sensor. The vacuum circuit is good. What do you think? I should point out that the indicator on the dashboard does not turn on, only the one on the green activation button. Thank you for your answers.

Check the pedal switch has been swapped for the correct type, there are two versions.

Mine's been temperamental for a few years now. Works sometimes and not others. When working, it will suddenly go off for no reason, rain or shine. The green main switch light always stays on but the motorway icon on the dash goes out. It's a KV6 auto with only one switch on the brake pedal that seems OK. Would be good to get it working more reliably.
