This is the Anniversary of the Allied Forces assault on the beaches of Normandy, which, almost a year later led to Victory in Europe;. During that interim period many many people perished. I am thankful, really thankful that I have not had to go through such terror.

For the true and honest, friend or foe, lest we forget.
