I booked to attend in the Oxford Traveller. However my wife finds herself short of stock for her vintage shop which must take precedence so we are taking the Oxford to The Malvern Flea Fair at the Three Counties Showground on the hunt for fresh treasures instead. Let's hope the weather bodes fair for both shows.

Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, I have just had a phone call, which puts Jan & I in a similar position.

A friend, that we sat with on both Wednesday and yesterday evening, has (this morning) tested positive for covid.

I know it's no longer compulsory, and it's an outdoor event, but we are now going to minimise our movements as much as is practicable.

At least we have the Edenbridge Rally coming up, and best wishes for tomorrow.

Regards,

Mike

That's a real shame Mike, I wish both you and Jan all the best. Look after yourselves and each other.

Can't believe you are not coming, that is such a shame. I am sure you don't need to worry about covid anymore, you are vac anyway, it is gone now.

Well the weather held up; indeed it's been nice, both warm and sunny.

I hope the day went well, and very sorry to have missed it.

Regards

Mike

It was a very good show, certainly some very interesting cars, i had a heart stopping moment when i couldn't find my key!! luckily I found it, it had fallen out of my back pocket, down the back of the rear seat, Got sort of lost coming out of the site, between that and the M20, i ended up on the M26, and came back the scenic route via Eastbourne

Glad you enjoyed the show Martin, and very sorry to have missed it myself.

I hope that there will be some photos, although I've never been able to put them onto the forum.

You certainly had good weather, and it's actually raining here at the moment. Here being home, and about 3.5 miles (as the crow flies) to the show ground. Double that of course, using the lanes; even more on the main roads.

The M26, from where you almost certainly joined it, will indeed take you straight to the A22, Eastbourne Road. There is no exit onto the A21, much to the annoyance of many.

Regards

Mike

Yep, i thought oh great, i can take the next jnt, thinking it would be the A21 then saw cribs corner looming up, And thought Oh GREAT, off at A22 then, despite my sat nav ordering me to turn around at next exit, ,Photos, yes i have photos, but i can't find my card reader, so its going to have to wait , There is one of rob and his lovely wife, as well as several others of stuff i took at the show.
