Brake pipes, front to rear
Daughter’s Tourer is going in on Monday to a workshop that specialises in brakes, for front to rear brake pipe replacement. (Unable to manage myself due to recent op). But thought I might ask the shop to knock up an extra set as we’ve four other 75s in the family which I generally care for but they are all saloons - are saloons brakes lines a different length to the tourer or is any difference negligible?

Thanks for the reply, yes, will be returning in a saloon, but hopefully to save measuring someone might know the answer already.

How about that.........my pattern (original pipework removed without damage) has been used to make both saloon and tourer pipework that fits in all of the original clips, and routes correctly. Brian |

Evening all. Just wondered if anyone had any drawings/dimensions of the original front to rear brake pipes by any chance please?
The diesel has had previous surgery with multiple repair sections with are of an excessive length that have been formed into any available recess around the tank. Also wondered if anyone knows the part number for the coupling that is positioned under the front o/s foot well that links the rear pipe sections between modulator and undercar. Thanks in advance. Ben. |

Just replace the whole length for one piece, I didn’t put a joint in mine when I replaced the pipes on my tourer earlier this year.
No measurements unfortunately but as said previously, just use what’s removed as a template provided it fits correctly

But as Reece says you can always make the brake pipe in one length |
