…. and the next question, is it available? Sounds like it could be useful as all I have is the Haynes manual and it only has limited wiring info.

Following Kevin’s reply, I have removed the carpet and a lot of the soundproofing is pretty soggy. I’ll get everything bone dry and check all the earth points though the old back is complaining a bit.. the carpet is surprisingly heavy!

If nothing else, it’s kept me entertained for the last few months but hoping I get to drive it at some point!

The Rave disc is available from Rimmers. Shown in stock, £11.36 plus P&P etc.

Unfortunately a T4 is virtually non existent in Scotland and even northern England. I maintain the map showing T4 locations (link below) and Scotland/north of England have become a desert. As far as I'm aware Gary (Lovel) in Aberdeenshire still has one but he's no longer an active member, I have no contact details for him other than the club PM system and he's rarely on the site these days, last log in was in February.

Continue with the drying-out work Howie, including any components affected by the water.

Will do Simon, fortunately I’m not in any rush as the owner is waiting for a cataract operation. Sensors are in the boiler cupboard and carpet is draped across the bonnet of my Series 3. I’m hopeful, given Toaf didn’t throw any communication errors, the sensors will be ok and, at worst, I might have to get an ecu as these seem more readily available. Anyone have experience of swapping these with Toaf or is it plug ‘n’ play?
