Default 2.5 KV6 Crankshaft Pulley - thoughts on changing it

I'm doing a timing belt on a KV6. Here's some photos of the crankshaft pulley, the rubber looks like it's starting to deteriorate.





Would you replace it? One the one hand, yes, it is showing its age. On the other hand, replacement parts, particularly those made from rubber, just don't seem to last like the original factory items.
