Default MicroSD card ?????

I need to buy a 16gb MicroSD for a Next Base dash cam.

The more I look online, the more confused I get.

Which one should I buy?

Go for a class 10 as it's faster than a class 4, also for a known make like Kingston.

If buying from the likes of Ebay, be very wary because many of the less reputable sellers are selling fake memory cards, particulaly Kingstone ones. The cards will report a larger capacity than actual and /or faster speed than actual - Check them out thoroughly with H2testW as soon as delivered.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Like this one?

Is there any advantage in buying a 32 rather than a 16 for a dash cam?

You should be ok with Amazon. The bigger memory will give you more recording time before it over writes. 16 will be plenty

Please dont buy from eBay. I use eBay regularly but I’ve twice been caught out with fake memory cards by apparent well known sellers. Causing me with card failure during photo shoots. Never again. Use amazon or another site I’ve used which are quite good is my memory.co.uk

Class 10 is actually a bit of a low bar to be aiming for these days, especially for recording video.

Look for at least class U1, preferably U3. (The Sandisk linked to above is a U3)

This is the one we got for our Nextbase camera

SanDisk Ultra 32 GB from Amazon

and it works a treat.

Prices seem to fluctuate a bit mind. Cost us £7.69 in June 2016 but it's £12.49 now!

Cheers guys. I have ordered the one in my link. Thanks for your input: I really haven't a clue about these things.
