T-cut works for me when they get a little foggy, deeper scratches would need the abrasives treatment first.

I was in a similar situation and bought these off Amazon:
75mm 3" Wet or Dry Sanding Disc Waterproof pads (604) Film DEERFOS Hook & Loop pack of 50/P1500 and 50/P800 (sold by Dr Abrasive).
