Looks like I'm the new proud owner of another 75!

That makes 3 in my fleet. Waiting for the seller to give me collection details.

I expect this will be like the £2.25 Saab from the other day where the seller inadvertently left a bucket full of zeros off the price.

Bit unfair, you've just made sure his mistake cost him the £10 listing fee (which he won't get back, even when he cancels the sale) instead of emailing him and giving him the chance to revise his ad.

Everytime a member posts one of these ads and another ends the listing it reflects badly on both the individual and the site.

I have no idea why people would want to swell the eBay coffers with yet more money for nothing.

I know it bores people when I trot out an objection to this, but here's how it affects the seller:

Cancelling a sale earns them a seller non performance strike, depending on volume of sales as few as just two of those can see them banned from selling on eBay for LIFE. That ban can also be extended to include other family members at eBay's discretion.

Financially, the £10 listing fee eBay charge for auction and buy it now format listings isn't refunded - the seller is stuck paying it.

The 75 is called the gentleman's carriage - it's not the gentleman's carriage unless you happen to make a mistake on a website in which case we'll have a giggle at your expense

Perhaps the seller hasn't made a mistake- the description was not very enlightening and he has over 100 positive feedback

Well he can relist it for £11 and get his money back.
