Had to speak to the doc again, I've to take another break from the statin! Side effects are creeping up even taking it every other day! Joint and muscle aches and stiffness are building, diabolical insomnia and (weirdly) puffy hands in the morning, so much so that the skin feels tight if I try to make a fist!

The doc is going to have a rethink and call me in a week or so by which time the statin should be out of my system. I did read that some people just can't get along with statins, beginning to suspect I'm in that category as this is the third one I've tried.

After reading about the guy chopping your hedgerow of shrubs the other day I was thinking the other night that I have two conifers that are higher than the house & they need lopping halfway. low & behold a local tree surgeon was posting fliers through the door this afternoon, I said how much for those two! he said £160 I said if it was £100 I'll have the job done

he did it there & then with his mate in half an hour, off cuts taken away too.
