The doc is going to have a rethink and call me in a week or so by which time the statin should be out of my system. I did read that some people just can't get along with statins, beginning to suspect I'm in that category as this is the third one I've tried.
Good evening Steve, not sure if you remember, a couple of years ago, I posted up about a friend pioneering new trials of a non-statin drug for high cholesterol. A drug company had been financing his research and drug trials. He is a Professor of Endocrinolgy, he told me how some of his patients were children with very high cholesterol, who could not tolerate statins and had been referred to him as a last chance for treatment. He had been running trials for several years.

To cut a long story short, his work came to fruition and the non-statins were approved for NHS prescription and even though they are expensive, they are thought to save lives.

If you have time, have a read of the link below, in case it possibly applies to you.

Evening all, just got in 5 mins ago, been a busy night. Nearly had a fall out with the ops manager at work, then been to my son's ATC passing out parade., then my cousin's surprise 50th birthday bash, that was boring! Didn't know anyone else bar him and his wife. No other family there, and they had to mingle with other guests. I have told my mrs not to do anything like that for mine. I hate parties. Would much rather have gone out with a few lads from the club.

Morning all! Early start as I am off to Falmoth to pick up an Original classic Oldsmobile to go with my car. Looking forward to driving a big American petrol rear wheel drive! Incredibly lovely and exciting!

Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Good morning all, it's been raining here all through the night. It's not fair why can't we have some snow.
