I am sure Derek wont mind me updating his progress.
He came home last night at about 8pm, Eastern European time!!!
they had nicked a couple of veins in his neck and had to Cauterize the wound
Lilian has said he is okay at the moment and being Derek he is determined to attend our monthly meet at The New Inn on Sunday.
On behalf of everyone on here, we all wish you well and a speedy recovery.
And I am also sure he will be posting on here very soon.

Best Wishes.

My moral fibres have been shredded since I joined the LCOZ - I was totally innocent before. I was 50 before I learned that Aer Lingus was an airline

Anyway - good morning perverts - it's a bit cool this morning, nice blue sky and some hazy sunshine, but at least it looks like Spring.
Actually there was a thing on BBC Radio Four about a possible merger between Cunard and Aer Lingus...

The name of the proposed JV escapes me now... 😁😇🐧🐧😊🍓😱🔴

I could do with a couple of BBQs - just to keep me warm!
It's very deceptive - fairly warm in direct sunlight, but move into the shade and the temperature drops like a stone.

Same here Rod, It's very chilly in that wind. I've just been out in the car & it's showing 8C on the temp gauge.

Good to hear Derek is on the mend. Sure he's on blood thinning meds like me, even the smallest nick and I bleed like a stuck pig.

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams
