One of the least popular controllers took exception to the way I delivered some information. It was clear, concise and unambiguous.

However as I was 1: 20 minutes late for my break and needed to use the facilities; 2: Using my own telephone as their tools- radio- were defective, this information was delivered quickly and somewhat colder than usual.

Said controller the attempted to play the part of a victim by saying he didn't like the way I was speaking to him and that if he spoke to me like that, I'd report him.

He also said I was speaking to him like a child.

I refused to get into that so asked him what any of that has to do with the information I had given him. And then repeated the information.

He then hung up.

Happy days!🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

G'day Phil - it does sound as if we could be a few miles apart doesn't it?
We are still in Southern(ish) parts until the 6th July - the final week up 'til then in Gloucestershire. Let's hope that wherever we all are - and Steve is "dahn Souf" at a similar time to us - we get a nice long period of warm, dry weather

Eh up - what's the inhabitants of Clacton been up to?
Perhaps it was parked in such a way that it was obscuring the entrance to The Toby Carvery - and Jeff and Steve took exception
