Another successful day today - that's two in one week - what's going on
Took my caravan back to the selling dealer in Weardale (Wolsingham - lovely area, especially today in the sunshine) so they could investigate why the fridge wouldn't work off gas. Having spoken to them on the phone, I was expecting to have to leave it with them, come home and collect next week (45 miles each way!) - but what a superb service I got!
Receptionist greeted me with a big smile and "good morning Mr Thrower" - before I announced who I was. Seconds later a man from the workshops appeared and said "you must be the gentleman with the dodgy fridge?".
A few more seconds and the workshop manager appeared and told me that they'd re-arranged some of their schedules so that they could look at my problem immediately. Coffee and a lovely comfy sofa were provided - nice chat to the receptionist and the salesman who sold me the 'van; two hours later, just when I was starting to think about finding a pie shop for lunch - the workshop manager re-appeared and announced it was fixed - in fact, about an hour previously - but they wanted to run the fridge for an hour to ensure the problem was solved.
It's so nice to get an old-fashioned, personal service - and this example was top notch. Anyone wanting a caravan, a motorhome, or service on either type - I really do recommend Robsons of Wolsingham

Oh - and I got a bottle of gas for £3 less than I normally pay around home - result and a half
