PPD Tourer spare wheel well trim.
Hello chaps,
I'm sure that this has been covered before but a quick forum search didn't yield a definitive answer. I've had a few bits off a 2002 R75 Tourer in a scrappy nearby for my 2004 Mk.2, and I noticed that it has a black trim panel under the hinged boot floor and a different polystyrene insert for keeping the jack and tools. The earlier arrangement looks like a much better system than what I've currently got, as it enables a bit more storage. I'm guessing that the lack of this is a Project Drive cost-saving measure on my later car, but before I nipped back to the scrappy and took it, I wondered if someone could confirm if I can use this with a full-sized spare wheel? The car in question had a space saver wheel but it was fitted to the car when I turned up. Many thanks :-) |

I'm sure I've seen them fitted with a full size spare wheel...

It will require a fair bit of trim removal to get out the two polystyrene side pieces
