Default That's two years now...

Since I've owned my 75. She is also the first 75 I've owned. I became a member here several years ago and occasionally came on the forum just to have a browse. Have always liked the look of these cars several years ago and thought one day I'd like to own one. That time came on the 31st May 2015. I was looking for 75s on Gumtree and found one local ish. Went to see it and fell in love with it straight away. It was owned by an elderly gentleman who had it since new. I'm now only the 2nd owner. Had a lot of service history. Car was far from perfect but it drove well and it was relatively cheap so did the deal and never looked back.

It's my daily car and I rely on it very much. Mileage is now 212,525 and still going strong.

I've had many ups and downs with the car. I think with it being such a high mileage car, certain problems were sure to crop up - both fuel pumps packing in, clutch etc. Anyway, I stuck with it. Many times I almost chuck the towel in but hung in there. Now it's just passed its MOT so another year of happy Rovering. I've also got a few other 75s tucked away, too.
The car has come along way since I bought it, for the better.

What have you lot done to me?!

Also, just want to say a big thank you to the community here who have helped me a lot with any problems I've had with the car. And met some fantastic people through the club too, and one or two life long friends. Long may it continue and I hope to meet some new faces at future events.

Anyway, here's a few pics and also a list of things that I've done since my ownership. I really need to update my project thread, too. I'll get around to it at some point...

That's a long list of things you've done there and I'd never believe that it had over 200k miles on the clock either. Jolly good work :-)

Is that your numberplate, or did the car come with that on it?

Either way it's looking mighty fine and is in one of the best colours IMHO.

Enjoy!

Thanks, everyone. As you can see from the list, a lot of work has gone into it. Almost there, now.
