Yes that too Richard. It was 12 months ago that we lost Woof25, who passed away on 02 December. Still missed and remembered. RIP Mike

I don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said.
Really sorry to be reading this. I've never met Derek but had a good few chats on here with him over the years. I wish I could meet him, I bet he'd have a tale of two to tell.
He is obviously a forum treasure and this news just seems to place a very dark cloud over the OC.

Best wishes, as always, to Derek and Lillian.

Such sad reading this. It is at times like these that I really miss being nearer. If I had been there I would have shot a rocket up the necessary people to get Derek the oxygen he needed a while ago. Now unfortunately, the horse has bolted and the stable door almost shut, so too late for that. Am hoping that this message gets to Derek and Lilian , as they know I would have done what I said. I sincerely hope for all the very best for Derek's health and for Lilian to get some respite as well. Lilian must be going through a terrible range of emotions at the moment and I wish her all the very best too. I really hope that Derek stays well enough for me to come up and visit in the New Year as I planned. Would love to see them both well and on their feet again. Anyway, love and respect to the pair of you, and all the best for Xmas and New Year. Vinnie (Yeti)

My thoughts are with Lillian, Derek and their family and friends.

I can only echo what everyone else has said about Derek. A proper old school gentleman.

Derek and Lillian gave me such a warm welcome at my first ever car meet; POL 2012.

They introduced me to people who have become very good friends.

I'd quite like to see LCOZ renamed after it's most staunch supporter- if that is OK with Lillian- as he contributed so much more than he will ever know to so many lives.

Stu.

Once again Jules, many thanks for all you & Dawn have done in keeping everyone updated,Jan &
I knowing Derek & Lilian for as long as we have, since the very first inception of the OC in fact, are feeling totally lost & helpless being so far away from such a lovely couple we have come to regard as personal family members of ours, indeed members of a much bigger family that the OC truly is.

Sitting typing this,Jan & I feel so desperately numb & lost for words,Derek & Lilian are so much a part of our personal lives,we feel so priveliged,to be able to
to call them Friends & Family, please Jules, can you pass on to them both & their Family, our heartfelt love,God be with Derek,Lilian & Family for all they are going through at this sad time, forever in our thoughts.

God Bless.....John & Jan.
