I suspect people are getting confused with the title “Car of the Month”. It doesn’t have to be in showroom condition and you don’t have to be a mechanical genius doing jobs on it. I think and hopefully others will agree, we all want to read about you and your cars story

Maybe we should re-title it, Featured Car of The Month

Yes it is a bit confusing. Mine is far from perfect so I wasn't sure. Then I read previous ones and realized I was fine. ☺

As allready said the cars don’t have to be show winners, just your car with a story about it. ‘Marmite’ came to us with interesting history but is not perfect, I’ve left trims that have shadowing from the battenburg stickers and also a dented bonnet that was used as a work bench when at incidents. I refuse to replace the rear light units that have broken clips as mine have holes cut into them where blue strobe lights were fitted. Your car, your story, let’s hear it...

The last sold ordered 75 Tourer. Paid for by the Phoenix Four and handed over by John Towers to the Warwickshire Northampton Air ambulance service as a Rapid Response vehicle |

Well I’ve got Dawn’s entry, but that’s all. If we are going to resurrect the CoTM, we need a couple of entries to build up a little stockpile, so that we have at least one in hand for the following month.
I’m happy to relaunch this from 1st Jan 19, but only if we get the entries, it’s up to you. Email them to Simondi or me [email protected] |
