Just kidding, I know it's the flip in the paint

She looks magnificent Rick, a real credit to you. She will look right at home under the NEC lights and will do the marque proud - a great choice of car for the club stand .

Just to update this thread, here's some pics of all the new underbonnet shiny bits added for the classic car show at the NEC

Fitted the following:
- polished stainless underbonnet mirrors
- custom made aluminium header tank
- stainless rad top bend
- stainless dip stick handle
- battery cut off switch. Saves me having to remove the strut brace to disconnect the battery at the NEC
- stainless power steering fluid reservoir cover
- new bonnet catches to replace the rusty old ones

And a few other bits and bobs.

Well done rick,i've been reading all your posts with envy, from start to finish, your car looks absolutely stunning, it surely puts my typhoon to shame,i have the time, but not the money to spend, but it is still a head turner, and love to be out and about driving it around.regards Ian.
