Ordered the lower mount, I will try that first as I am more than sure it's an engine rocking issue.

Around 40 000 miles ago. It is not while changing, that has always been very smooth, just on coming to a stop or pulling away at low speeds.

Can't believe it's taken me so long to have this fixed , christmas got in the way.

I bought the rear engine mount ages ago, but just had the garage across the road from me fit it.

£20! Not worth getting my hands dirty.

Well it's cured the thud problem when changing between 1st and 2nd.
