Default Lower Balljoint Boot Size

Hello chaps,

I've got to replace the rubber boot on my driver's side lower ball joint (the one that sits under the hub) before I take the car in for its MoT next week.

Please could somebody tell me what size boot I need to buy?

I had a similar problem with my Rover 45 some time ago and bought a couple of them on eBay so am hoping it'll be equally easy this time.

Many thanks!

Simon R.

I think I used the same type of thing from Ebay. Worked well. However a year later - I noticed that one of mine has perished badly enough to burst. I was changing the arm anyway so it didnt matter. Not sure what has caused it to happen but the other side was fine.

Pretty sure I've used those in the past too - they were excellent quality.

Unless you can find brand new Lemforder factory arms (we have only a few kicking about here, as production ended years ago), replacing the boots on your arms is the best way forward.
Also a lot cheaper!
