Default Looking for a favour please

I've seen a stainless rear silencer for sale on ebay but, the seller refuses to post it I've put a request out on pony express but, unfortunately, nobody is coming up my way for a good while.
The silencer is in Newmarket, Suffolk and I was just wondering if anybody was nearby and willing to collect the silencer and then find the time to post it on to me. All costs and expenses will, obviously, be covered.
Any help would be rewarded and greatly appreciated

Many thanks.

Try the "Pony express" section as well Paul. You'll quickly drop down the listings here.

I was dropping son to Uni in Cambridge Thursday I would have done it for you..

Had this problem before, I have an account with collect + I told the seller just to take the item to a shop 4 minutes away from him which he did thankfully, the shop will even print the delivery label for you.

Paul, just to clarify a point, is it in sections or a complete unit?

Google 'Myparceldelivery' enter collection and delivery points, make your choice of courier and pay your money.
You will need dimensions and weight to input. Seller won't need to do anything other than hand the item over.
I have always opted for their 'own brand' 'Myparceldel' courier and have always had UPS handle it, think it depends on best deal they can get in area.
Good luck

Thanks for that but, would it not need packing? Seller doesn't want to be bothered with any postage or packaging.
Shame, because he'd have sold it by now

Not sure, I've seen exhausts delivered before without packaging. My parcel del do say item should be in a polybag but not sure how that is enforced, the main thing is that item can be carried intact. It will probably need addressing but some couriers pitch up with a label ready.
I can understand a seller not wanting to go to a lot of effort with P&P, I have done it myself but as you say if the seller wants to sell they have to make a little effort, with collection only the sales opportunities are very much restricted.
Try alternative couriers see what they can offer. Hope you can work something out.

We will be going to Norfolk next weekend, so could pick up on the way past on A14 either Friday or Sunday evening and then post on to you if no one can help before then.
