That looks lovely, doesn't it?

I checked the MoT history and would be slightly hesitant:
  • Rear Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened (1.1.14 (a) (ii))
  • vehicle underside corroded heavily
  • Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material both front (1.1.11 (c))

I'd like to know what's heavily corroded - could be nothing I suppose, or could be rectifiable easily.

That’s a late Reg to have all those ppd bits fitted!

Thats a little belter!
Worth checking the underside and getting it rust proofed if the rear arms arent goosed.

Those are all advisories Simon. The car passed the MOT test on 4th July so it's not considered dangerous.

This car is attractive in many ways so I wouldn't hesitate to view it. I'd have a look underneath and make my own decision. I've had failed brake pipes. At least the owner has taken steps to minimise deterioration. I wonder just how the tester was able to assess the corrosion through a layer of "grease or other material"? The rear brake disc wouldn't concern me either.

real wooden dash too, thats a late 52 plater most likely built in 2000, and showroomed, fantastic piece of history that, i bet the dealer does not know the significance of that car, must be one of the newest Pre project drive cars in existence left on the road.

It has a wavy line wooden gear knob, that looks to be unfaded too!

It would be interesting to know the VIN.

I’ll find out the build data later when I get home, if someone else doesn’t beat me to it that is!

That explains why it's got all the bits, with that build date it would be just before project drive
