Fuel tank removal
A couple of questions re fuel tank removal.
1) What do I have to disconnect to remove the tank completely? (Apart from the main filler hose and the 4 tank strap bolts)? 2) If I remove the tank will I introduce air into the system and mess up the fuel injection system? |

Question 3
3) How do these hose clips undo?
That's the tank at bottom of pic. The metal thing is one leg of the tank strap. |

Answer: they don't - the hexagon heads have gone! https://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.p...e_clip_32_50mm
Anyone got any bright ideas how to get these off? Last edited by Blink; 16th October 2019 at 23:29.. |
