Memory seats
Our new Connoisseur (due to be delivered soon) has electric seats but no memory
Is it possible to upgrade, and if so, how hard/much?! |

The problem retro fitting memory seats is that some of the functions are controlled via the K-Databus. I don't know if it works without that connection or if it can be enabled via T4.
According to the manual, the K-Bus connection to the BCU is used for: memory programming, door open status and lazy entry request & cancel (recognising key used and moving seat for that user) It also uses the K-Bus connection to the instrument pack for: ignition status, ABS speed sensor (inhibits memory when car is moving) and the chime (when seat is in memory position) The wiring to the seat is the same as electric seats, two cables from 30 amp fuses and earth, but with an additional 5 amp feed and K-Bus connection. |

The four cables are: Orange/White, feed for the heater on warning light, Red/White for switch illumination, Black for earth and Yellow for the heater switch line (the earth is switched, not the feed)
