The only way is to use a separate tuner adaptor, such as the Revo. This would interface via a FM aerial or cassette adaptor. You could use an aux-in adaptor, although this would prevent you using a cd changer and would cost somewhat more.

I tried a revo but wasnt too impressed by the bulk of the unit (yet another visible box to find a home for on the dash) and the quality from the supplied aerial wasn't too good either. I took it back for a refund in the end.

I settled on a new head unit with separare (hidden) dab tuner box, external aerial and Ipod adaptor (JVC AVX2+DB1000+KS-PD100). I went for this specifically because the cost of the dab tuner is reasonable. Since I bought it there seem to be more head units around with integrated dab tuners.

The quality is superb - I only lose the dab signal in two of the hollows on Salisbury plain where FM is dire anyway. The HU also plays video, divx and mp3 encoded DVDs and can also take a feed from a reversing camera....one more thing for the to-do list.

As an aside, the standard speakers are not at all bad when driven by a decent amp/head unit.

Currently have a Revo fitted (looks very neat, I have it mounted on a Brodit screwless mount to the side of the stereo).

The supplied windscreen element aerial is very hit-and-miss - I am currently looking for a replacement aerial to fit after Christmas, but that aside I think the unit works well, and for me was a damn sight cheaper than fitting the Pioneer DAB box to my head unit.

Not sure, but Halfords may still be doing the Revo for £80 fully fitted. If you do go down the Revo route, seriously consider spendinding the extra £20 for the upgraded glass mount aerial.

Nothing to hand I'm afraid. Will try and find a few minutes to take a pick this evening or tomorrow morning.

I have a full Pioneer DAB - it's been so good! I know i lot of people have problems with windscreen mounted aerials. My advice would be to go for the full roof aerial where possible (but not to drill through the head linning like I did)

Planning to switch to a glass-mounted stick-up aerial after Christmas. It is a reluctant move, but the stick-on window aerial is far to unreliable, and seems to be very variable in bad weather, and is also not helped by the fact that it looks really ugly on my windscreen.

Would have loved to have got the Pioneer DAB unit (as I already have the Pioneer iPod unit and a IP-Bus Aux lead), but 225 quid new + aerial vs 80 quid complete and fully fitted for the Revo, the Revo nicked it.

Will pop out to the car in the morning and do Revo pics.

A new DAB radio might be the better option (technically), but I would really like to keep the look of the Symphony.

Yes but the Pioneer P77 I have is so well suited to the ZT - don't you think? It's quite retro looking.
