Nice early Walnut & Sandstone Steering Wheel *SOLD*
Nice wheel I bought for my 75.
Walnut is slightly darker than it looks.in the pictures The Sandstone has been redyed but this is a lovely early clean wheel. Has buttons for Audio and Cruise. Airbag will not be supplied with the wheel because the PO won't let me send explosive items in the post. £115 Delivered. |

Nice early Walnut & Sandstone Steering Wheel
I've sent airbags by mail/ courier with no issues. They are only explosive if they are connected surely?
They must be shipped to dealers/ distributors in the first place. |

There on the Royal Mail restrictions list as there explosive.
You can of course not tell them & just say that it's just a steering wheel. You can get couriers that'll deliver them but they need to be in a metal case incase they do go off. A college used to work in a main dealer & if they were changed under warranty or recall they had to be detonated before being returned to manufacture.

In theory, because there are wires attached (an aerial!) you could pick up a sufficient signal to fire the match head that sets off the "explosive".
The attached wires are twisted which helps to protect, I once carried an exposive actuator around for years and that never blew Wrap the whole in metal foil and that should be sufficient protection. |
