Electrical contact cleaner arrived via Ebay in under 24 hours,so can get to cleaning circuit board of sat nav unit now.

But now that it's rained have found two water leaks at rear of Tourer
One directly above where Satnav unit lives, dripping out of join where outer rear wing panel butts up to inner panel - need to remove rear side panel to get at that.
And much bigger leak into spare wheel well, anyone got some spare Goldfish I can put in there ?
This bigger leak appears to be getting in behind the tailgate rubber seal at bottom right (drivers side) corner and running down into spare wheel well.
Might try removing that corner of rubber seal, drying it out with airline and sticking it back on with silicone as rubber seal itself looks ok. Maybe it's just not gripping the metal edge that it pushes on to firmly enough.
That's a job for the weekend

At last got around to refitting the three Highline units in rear of the Tourer.
Sat nav drive circuit board cleaned up fairly well with the electric parts cleaner but some of the contacts still looked bit corroded from the years of moisture on them. Anyway, turned Highline on and all worked ok for a few minutes then screen went blank again ! Radio, tape and cd changer functions working ok at mo just nothing on screen. Screen isn't black like when you turn screen display off,it has a slight blue tint to it.
Could it still be a faulty Sat nav drive unit causing this, where it's circuit board got corroded ?
