'Tis true, old slappers are ten a penny, esp when you get to our age Phil!

Honestly think about it. Unless there are other reasons you don't want to go into, I think it's unreasonable to sell a car to finance a kitchen. JMHO.

Any men on here who do what they want ... not what their wives tell them ? Surely your wives married you for the man you are .... not the "yes man" you're turning into.

If you don't want to sell the car ... don't. If you want to buy the car ... buy it. If she can't handle it, or has a problem, she's not worth it. Don't blame the wife for decisions.

I'm 51% sell it and 49% keep it. If I do decide to keep it, I will want to sort out the paint imperfections which really are insignificant and seem to be invisible to everyone else because they bother me, but it seems a lot of expense on a 7 year old car that won't add any value to it?!

Phil - that is a lovely looking car....... If it's that close - KEEP IT!!

Where would you find a car that comes anywhere near it? Paint imperfection? Listen to what the others say... if they can't see it, it's not "really" there
