Rover 75 woes
Good day and hello. I am a new owner of a 2002 1.5l automatic rover75.
I've always loved this car so when i saw one imported from singapore i felt great! the car has given more than its share of worries! it's been out of service for almost 2 months and the dealer is considering replacing the engine with that of the HONDA CRV.' Can this work? Is there a compatibility issue? The car has a history of transmission issues [ said to be resolved], radiator issues [said to be resolved], engine mount issues [said to be resolved], cylinder head issues [skimmed] and now cylinder head gasket issues. Will a new rover 75 engine solve these issues? |

Welcome to the club sleepingiant
Slightly confused, there are no 1.5 75s do you mean a 1.8 I presume so as you mention head gasket replacement. Where are you based? I think you will have a great deal of difficulty making a CRV fit a 75. |
