Default Halfords EV home chargers.

I see Halfords have now gone into the EV home charger installation business & energy supply. https://www.halfords.com/motoring/ad...-charging.html

I really hate these sites that offer you a product but wont let you see it unless you let them invade your computer.

Well, as far as I'm concerned they can stick it.---

I did the quote thing out of curiosity & the prices for a Rolec charger fitted ranged from £695 & upwards depending where you want the charger fitted & how much cable used.

Some peoples quotes I've seen are over £1000 but it all boils down to your cicumstances. The cut off date for the £350 OLEV grant is the end of March 2022 and as appointments for the installation people can be long I wonder if the OLEV grant would be honoured if the team couldn't fit the charger before the deadlineTheir prices for the type 2 to type 2 charging cables are expensive, you can get the same cables from Aliexpress for less than half the price they're charging.

Look at www.TLC-Direct.co.uk for better pricing.

Hmm . . . . I hope they subcontract to another company. Any Halfords "technician" I've come across finds changing bulbs and wiper blades challenging.

Halfords.

Guess you can't complain as their attempts are free.--
