That won't tell you anything because it's the programmed electronics within the instrument pack which keeps the gauge pointer stationary at all temperatures between 75 and 115 degrees.

Here's that MGR calibration graph again (is it from RAVE or the other ones?).

You see it's horizontal between 75°C and 115°C, so not very helpful. The rationale given underneath is a bit dubious considering any slight rise above 'normal' often means the damage is already done. I believe this 'normal' range can be customised to more useful temperatures - if you know how to do it (not T4 / TOAF tho).

Our OP has a stone crusher though TC, and they don't damage easy!

Uh oh!! Started a new thread on this! Didn’t see all these answers. But here are a few things people have asked.

19-7 came out averaging 88c
The heaters blow but it comes out with no heat at all practically freezing
Engine temperature is fine but interior is not
I have tried the different blowers but it’s not them
Have checked all fluids and they’re fine

Apologies again for not seeing all these useful things but thanks very much for the help, I need to try some more things but weather has been horrible today in Suffolk

Thank you all very much

Try draining, refilling and bleeding the cooling system Leyton by following the MGR official procedure for the diesel engine. If you're not DIY minded, maybe Trikey will help you as he's not far away.

Simple way to check hot engine turn heater to full switch interior fan off run at 2000 rpm for 5 mins turn heater on if hot on left then goes cold it's the matrix as Trikey said but can easily be changed
This is only a guide to checking the heater matrix if your engine is at full working temperature there is a thread on this at the moment but I seems I can't reply to it
