Thats what happen when you have a Karanka as a coach (think I spelt that correct)

Tripe and Brawn is off the menu,I prefer Chitterlings and Jot,a nice Bloater and a Cromer Crab, and just salt n vinegar on our chips.

I'm on a starvation diet today - we're off out at teatime for socially distanced, takeaway - but eaten in the car - fish and chips. We order in advance (daughter is going with us) and the chippie allows one in and one out - no standing in a queue

Cool

Evening all

Got the grass cut just before it tipped it down.

Now we have blue sky and warm evening sunshine.

A cool Henry Weston is heading my way.

Not that far mate - we've found a cracking chippie just down the road in Redcar called Sea Breeze. Two of the staff are coeliacs, so they know what they're doing on the gluten free front.Lovely white flakes of fish, with a light, crisp batter

Morning all

Yesterday’s trip into the park was a nice day out, even though we did not see much of the wild life. The animals were there but we could not see them. At one point whilst keeping a safe distance to take photos of Rhinos and Zebras grazing, we were stopped and questioned by armed rangers telling us to keep to the road. They said next time they see us off-road, we will be reported.

The roads were in a terrible state of no repairs after 6 months of rain and slippery with black rivers of mud, known as ‘ Black Cotton’......some were impassable, even for a 4x4. The parks are struggling financially because of the loss of tourists. All the picnic sites were closed, but we understand it is to stop people getting together and spreading the virus, so we had the picnic in the car, no hardship and apart from being reprimanded (took it on the chin) and not seeing any Elephants or Lions, it was lovely to have a day out.

We will go again when the weather is warmer and drier.
