Well it wasn't obvious to me, I wasn't questioning their motives, I wasn't being protective of Mat, I was genuinely confused. It was either a ''my parcel is late too'' post, or a ''my email was answered quickly too'' post.

I'll just take it as both

Others may also be waiting for deliveries. Mat may be busy or stock has not arrived.
I may be one a few people waiting but they can now feel at ease that Mat has got back to me and may well get back to them too. In other words he’s not ignoring people.
A little bit of reassurance given seems to be a mistake on my part or misinterpreted?
The OP seems happy now so all is well.

Still waiting for my parcel but the container has gone back to China so I’m told.
Annoyingly I’ve had to put off the fitting again of my rear suspension parts. Will now have to go ahead and then fit the dampers after. Pity as I’ll be removing and refitting the old ones. Double handling again.
I’ve asked Mat why he is still advertising the dampers when he cannot supply? No response as yet. 25 day wait so far.

Hi Vicorgate, I have had dealings with you, when you gifted me an unwanted accessory belonging to you. You packed it and mailed it promptly FOC.

So I appreciate your frustration when paying for a traders services.

Default missing parcel from DMGRS

Just to clarify a few things:

- The container hasn’t gone back to China. A mess up at Felixstowe meant the vessel had to ‘cut and run’ with our stock on board, then a change in Customs rates on the 1st November caused all kinds of paperwork hassle (as the date is when it actually passes through the docks).
It was due with us several weeks ago, this is the latest in a chain of issues with this order we’ve had.
Cut and run is something I actually knew nothing about - but the long and short of it is that vessels have 'slots' booked in at other ports, so it's easier to ditch an unloading early and leave some onboard than miss a cascade of slots later in the schedule. I see why they do it, but it's very annoying!

- We’re not dropshipping middlemen. A lot of our competitors are, but personally I prefer to inspect everything myself and re-pack to order. All orders are sent directly from us in sunny Southport.
We put between £30k and £70k forward to our suppliers overseas several months before the orders land with us. It’d be much easier to drop ship

- Good to see mss on the usual ‘omg, someone is defending DMGRS! Better stop that...’ train. It’d be boring without such posts

Currently in our new office preparing all parcel labels for the stock to arrive tomorrow - if anyone has a desperate need for their order, PM me ASAP and I’ll make sure it’s first out the door.

We CAN supply which is why they’re advertised, and we have 5x what has been pre ordered coming to us.
Yes it’s annoying when things are held up, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. We offered the items at an incredibly low price to help members, on the understanding that it was a pre order and they’re not physically with us yet.
