I think the belts have an age life as well...but not sure.

So they could be 14 years old..

Very little mileage over the last few years, and as the tax ran out in April this year, hardly been in use. The MOT was passed in October with no advisories which is interesting as for at least three years the exhaust " was severely corroded", so maybe, as part of a service these things were done along with the cam belt, to sell it.

Agreed that there could be more pictures.

How is it strange?

He's had the car from new - 14 years ago - would you not have had them changed by now?

Does the mean you know differently?

Worth a look if you are in the market for one. My ZT came from a Gumtree ad that wouldn't stand scrutiny. Fortunately the car and the documentation did!
