Most certainly a distraction, these cars should not be allowed on the roads, the one we have is going back tomorrow, I never want to drive one again.

All these new modern cars I feel are dangerous to drive, far too many buttons to distract you from driving. Dashboards are no longer dashboards, they are just one big media centre for you to play with.

If they can ban the use of mobile phones while driving, how about ban modern cars altogether. The modern car dashboard I believe is worst than any mobile phone, put yourself behind one and you'll see what I mean.

Perhaps they should make that FOB like a wristwatch.----

Seems these care are quite easy to steal with the right electronic gubbins .

the cards can be interogated and cloned from a distance . or thieves use a relay system to acticvate the car

I've got a CX3 which has a push button start. I like it. I have a remote fob for unlocking the car that has a key hidden inside it to unlock the doors if the battery dies. The fob lives in my bag and never gets lost.

No jangling keys, no fumbling around to find a keyhole.

Our Freelander 2 has a stop/start button.......I like it
It has a remote fob to unlock the car but, (and this is the bit I like), it has to be inserted into a ‘dock’ so you know where it is. This dock also charges the battery in the fob so no flat fob battery

That's a much better set up Paul, why cant Nissan think if that idea when building a 2018 Qashqai?
