[QUOTE=tony_fry;2708178]Hi all,

Just to let you know I have emailed Sean a couple of days ago after speaking to Jeff, and I have had no response from him at all. I feel sorry for those that have sent money to Sean but have not received the goods. Could I ask how you paid for them as I have not had any payments made to me since Feb 2018?.

I am am out of pocket as well where he had PayPal disputes that I had to refund and he did not have the funds available.

I know from the last emails that I had from Sean, he was having problems with wrong deliveries from the factory's and faulty goods, but as Jeff has said he should be answering emails there is no excuses for not replying.

I feel for all that have had bad experiences. But Sean has supplied 100's of units to happy customers.

If I hear anything from Sean I will let you know via this thread.

If you paid by Paypal, you'll see that the recipient was Tony Fry, not Sean, so any payments recalled by Paypal will come out of Tony's account, which means he'll have to add himself to the list of those chasing Sean for money!
You are quite right I am out if pocket due to the claim backs on PayPal as I opened the account for Sean.

So does Sean actually exist or am I being suspicious? Also is there a link between Tony & the old shop in Clacton? Somehow I'd say yes as both are in the same area.
Needs clarification I think.
I am a real person. If you would have been around the club a few years ago and had attended any of the annual meets you would have know me. I originally shipped the units for Sean as I had a number of dealings with him on the head units that I had brought. Jeff was the person who took over sending out the units and did repairs on behalf of Sean. I now how no dealings with Sean and are also out of pocket from his PayPal claim backs.

I get the feeling you have been set up? Tell me if I am wrong but it seems he has got you to set up a PayPal account for him and let all the claims come out of your pocket and not his?
About 25 years ago I was starting up a business and was approached by another guy with a similar background who very soon suggested a partnership. Within weeks he was using my name to order equipment and business name. Thankfully I got wind of it and put a stop to it. Imagine the conversation I had with BT when I told them to get stuffed over a 2k bill for stuff I never ordered.
What really hurt was when I was approached for return of “fees” I had charged up front from a customer. He was blatantly being me in front of customers and taking cash. I later found out how prolific he was at ripping off people over many years. A career criminal without doubt.

You may be right but I have had dealing with Sean for over 5 years and many thousands of pounds went though both PayPal and a private banking account that I had opened for him, without any problems.

I do believe it is just a number of factors that have caused these problems, there are hundreds of happy customers that have brought head units, bumpers and rear lights from him. I just think he has fallen on bad times and is sinking his head in the sand

Bad times or not, all the guy has to do is return people's money.

Sean was very active on here at the time when people were having issues with faulty goods and non receipt of goods, all he had to do is offer a resolution or issue those entitled with a refund.

What else is there to say?

Yet between Tony and Jeff and anyone else with a business relationship with him none appear to have anymore than an email address to deal with. No physical business address - or other 'real world' (i.e. non-web) contact details?

Tony you may well have had many thousands of pounds go through succesfully and have had five years of good dealings.

Its more than 13 months since he took my money for a premium bumper that he lied about delivery dates on, gave false tracking to, and made excuse after excuse about. He was continuing to take ''orders''. He was delivering one in every five or six he was paid for for the last year before his ''problems'' started.

I know you and Jeff are innocent and want to believe in him....but hes not dead. He didnt just have financial problems. His paypal account is locked by paypal because of massive numbers of disputes. I've also reported him to action fraud and the police six months ago.

He doesnt answer facebook messages about missing orders but get someone he hasnt been in touch with to ask him for a price for something and he replies within two days.

Hes still doing it.
