Brakes to me, are the only thing between you and possibly the grave, also someone else's grave. My brakes are checked at least twice a year. ( This years mot said there was a slight lip on the edge of my discs. After 80,000 odd miles that is to be expected). The point is I knew it was there. When I asked about it, i was told that it was ok we are just making a note of it. And they said how clean the underside of the car is, and the brakes were as clean as a bell. I would be disgusted with myself if the brakes or steering were a reason for failure, along with tyres.

Here's mine, over the last couple of weeks had fitted 4 new tyres, clean sheet MOT yippee, then on a drive to sunny Scunthorpe last week doh broke down... arrghh. The nice man from the AA arrived, plugged in and said your crankshaft sensor is faulty. Ten minutes later located one in a local parts shop in Louth. £38 later (great deal I thought) back to the car within 20 minutes Sean the AA man had finished replacing duff sensor then back on the road. Worth the membership fee I reckon. No more probs drives like a dream been to Hertfordshire and back since smooth as silk. It must be love lol 😍

Thought I would check my MPG on the IPK during Motorway use today.
As I was pulling onto the offramp I asked the missus to take a quick snap of the instruments as I was doing so, and this was the result. I zero'd the MPG at the roundabout just before joining the motorway, and the snap was taken about 20 miles later as I was leaving. Speed was ranging from 50-70. I thought not bad considering my Balance VIS is on the blink awaiting replacement, and as far as I can remember an improvement since fitting the Supersprint Rear Silencer... Anyway, I was impressed. (Although I know the Diesel-Freaks won't be ). Yes, I know I need to get my IPK Display fixed.. Ciao...
