Thumbs up Nice examples still attract lots of interest ..

Even on ebay.

Le Mans Green MG ZT-T 1.8t

If I did not already have a couple of ZT-T 1.8t I'd bid strong on this car in my favourite Le Mans Green. Looks like an exceptional specimen. Fine and rare opportunity for someone.

It's possible that it did 2158 miles on the back of the 2007 test then went into storage until it resurfaced eight years later, possible, but implausible. The implausible becomes incredible when the seller is unable to offer any explanation for the gap in the MOT history.

There may well be an explanation, we have a Rover 100 in dry store with delivery miles on it, but when someone goes to the trouble of storing a car they have a story to tell, dont they?

I have a car 1982 that rarely comes out and sometimes isn't even mot'd for long periods.

The condition look's to show low miles, as it's only one owner it should not be hard to trace some history and find out if it has been in storage....shame it's not an auto

I bought a 214SEI a few years ago with 8000 miles on the clock. It belonged to an elderly gent who bought it to retire with. Not long after he retired, he had a recurring illness so the car was garaged (heated integral garage) and over two years, just went to the testing station and its annual service (Yes really!) I very reluctantly, had to sell it when I needed a wheelchair vehicle for my father. It was sold to another Rover enthusiast (who travelled 200 miles, paid me cash and picked it up a couple of weeks later). These rare cars do exist but are often very hard to find. Proving the mileage and service history is paramount to get a good/realistic price.

That's a bargain. What else can you get out there for that money? Nothing.

Default I still think that was very cheap

That car was a steal, that is silly money, it should be worth more really but that's the way it goes, my diesel tourer has just passed its MOT for another year, I paid £1700 for this one with 85,000 on the clock, a bargain I think :-)

Lovely car. You've only to look at the depreciation on a newer car to see you have a bargain.
